Can of compressed air should do it or go to settings > system information, then rotate your analog clockwise then counter clockwise for 30 seconds each.

Rotating calibrates the PSPs analog stick so it can tell which direction it is moving

A common issue to this model. I had this problem before.

You can take off the faceplate with a #000 phillips head screwdriver. There are 4 screws, two on the PSP's back and two under the battery (The left screws not the right.)

Remove the faceplate and remove the two screws on the analog stick. Give it a good clean. On the underside of the analog stick you will see 4 little legs. push them up a little bit. Screw the faceplate back on tightly.

Problem fixed.

Can you fix the same problem on the go, but not just the way you said?
