The site also unveiled the game's box art, which depicts a pensive gentleman holding a handgun and a hunting knife."

New Zombies Details guys! This time its on the official Playstation Magazines website
Zombies Details here

Quote
“Our zombies fans want more zombies,” he revealed somewhat unsurprisingly. Hang on though, he’s going somewhere with this. “They literally want more zombies and they want more ways to play” (see). That means Black Ops 2 will be expanding on what the previous games have done before with the undead.

PRE ORDER BONUSES-GAMESTOP

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has officially existed for barely over a day, and as the internet hype machine slowly begins to whirl up to speed, so too does the uproarious clamor from our nation's retailers, hell-bent on claiming custody over your Call of Duty consumer commitment.

Predictably, Gamestop is the first out of the gate with enticements to earn your dollars, with pre-order bonuses that come in waves – four to be precise – the first of which is active now. Securing your future purchase of Black Ops 2 during the first wave will net you an "exclusive, limited edition two-sided poster," as well as a Prestige token for Modern Warfare 3 and all of the subsequent pre-order bonuses offered during waves two, three and four."-joystiq

So its 'Call of Duty: Slightly Futuristic Warfare' ? Either way seems interesting, though I'll reserve judgement till I see some gameplay.

Whoa, I wasn't prepared for this. Being in the future and all of that. I hope it uses a new engine and a cover system. I don't know why but it reminds me a bit of Killzone.

@Ryan: I believe the first two points of your 'rules' are rules contained within the site's Rules. However the other ones should be petitions or suggestions, you are no moderator to tell me what to do. All of this in a respectful way.

...That doesn't mean he can't remind people to follow them.

Black Ops 2 actually doesn't look that bad. Hopefully we will see a good port of BO2 to the Vita. I also hope theytake the series in a new direction. I personally would like a third person cover system and larger online maps and player slots.

Im with you on the third person cover system ^ It would make things alot more tactical and easier to check for campers before engaging in combat, however it might make things a little slow paced, and COD franchise is known for its fast-paced gameplay..

Another thing, Rasen##]^*!Shuriken!!!! Why are the C.O.D Developers so goddamn lazy T_T The Cover art is the almost the exact same as the previous Blops
Plus they could've come up with another name other than a pause button -_-;

I Doubt it will have a new engine.

I dont have high hopes, but we will see.

Lol that made my day.

I think, contrary to what most people think, that Treyarch could re-innovate the COD series for the good. Future warfare was a good call, and I, for some reason, want to see a descendant of someone from Black Ops playing a sizable role in the SP. Of course. that's just me.

It technically isn't the same engine, since they use a new name for it.

Doesn't seem it is going to convert anyone who hasn't previously liked the series, but with the sales CoD gets, I doubt they care.

Wow, they, wow... Since when did the term "black ops" go from refering to covert, clandestine operations by operatives in foreign lands and sneaking into enemy compounds and other spy stuff to...robots? Call of Duty Gundam!

I kinda agree with that, however, I think they just want to continue their storyline. Otherwise, another name would be more aproppiate

BUT come on its the same đhÍt over and over again... nothing new... its the same freaking engine since COD2 its like buying a 50 pounds DLC every year + ppl buy the overpriced 10 pound DLC's that gives you maps that has already been released in previous COD games?... that i dont get. i buy games that have something to show ... something new or at least interesting but cod is FREAKING BORING ... ok i stopped now i wont even check back to this page im not trolling i just dont get why ppl feed companies that gives you pretty much NOTHING!

I've heard that argument many times before. Yet I still but them. Well, not every one of them, but I play them. Why? Because they are fun for me. And come on, it moved to a fusturistic setting, you can't say it's the same all over again, at least for this.

Its a taste thing. And IMO people who legitimately enjoy every new Call of Duty have poor taste in gaming. I will say the new direction for Call of Duty Mech Assault is surprising. The Cold War era story is the only reason I bought Black Ops one, played 2 levels and let it gather dust in my room. But who knows, maybe Call of Duty Armored Core will be goo-LOL I can't even finish that with a straight face.

I liked the part where you said IMO. Though let me say I was truly skeptical with this game, as I didn't like Black Ops.

I've found that Call of Duty fanatics will debate you til the end of time if you don't state that your opinion is merely that, your opinion.
Then there are fans that are so thick skulled that they believe opinion is fact and will mercilessly try to prove they're right and your wrong with the tenacity and intelligence of a 5 year old. Unfortunately this type is more prevelant than the latter...

@Silent True that, but I've found that actitude not only with Cod fanboys, but with fanboys of other franchises as well, be it Metal Gear, Grand Theft Auto, Portal. Of course, it's much less common to dislike those. What I don't like however is when someone believes I'm inferior (for a lack of better expression) when I say I like a game. It's disrespectful.
Well, only time (and gameplay videos) will tell if I will buy this one.
