I'm sorry if this has been talked about but uh... Why not make a PDC App,
It would allow phone/tablet users to easily access pdc's forums. People can sign on to there own accounts and post. It would kinda be like the IGN App, but a forum style. I'm just thinking that is all. |

I think weve asked Jesse this before, but there are issues with doing it.
The main problem that we have is creating an app that will be able to access the site's user base and allow people to sign in on the app. Last time this was was brought up, none of us knew how to do that. The other problem is what content and features do we put on it? Really, all it would be is access to forums, PMs, reviews, and artocles: A stripped down version of PDC. I'm sure Jesse can explain this alot better. |

We could always maybe talk about new features. Or have a poll. We go have a Mobile game of the week that will link the game to the iOS store or Play Store(Android market)

Personally, I'd like a PDC App.
I mainly use apps now since the websites I visit have their own apps, I really only use my phone's web browser to access PDC. Besides, navigating PDC on Safari (mobile) is terrible anyways. |

I want one ... but it is a difficult issue with attempting to keep the site secure, and as soon as you post an app that outlines where you need to spoof to get into the site without the proper credentials ... we have a problem. so i'm not proceeding on making anything. I have a phone and a tablet that can browse the site without any issues, and if things get worse i'll morph the PC site into a site that can accommodate PCs and tablets/mobiles.

Still a nice thought but pdc is fine on my ipad , ps vita , pc , ps3 , psp and my galaxy phone so in a way there is no need for a app yet but hey try creating one for ps suite thats a hint but like jesse said you need credentials to create and publish an pdc app , would be nice for the vita

If the issue is that the pc version of the site doesn't work good on phones, why don't you put a button to switch from pc to the psp version?

I don't see why you don't have a mobile sub domain. For example; m.pspdemocenter.com. No offense, but this whole conversation to me is just showing how lazy the site developers are.

If there isn't a good plan to do something, we're not going to do it.
A mobile sub domain is easy to create, but the creation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of an additional "mobile" section of the site is not anything that is going to be done. If the site is updated beyond where it currently is at ... it will be drastically revamped. And discussing mobile apps was the point of this thread (which is moot since it isn't going to happen), not critiquing the methods of the site's staff. |

I will work on this for everyone. I created PDC Studios over 8 months ago as a mobile branch off of PDC. Quick note though, at this point the most you would get is an rss feed app. But at least it will be a start. Eventually, I'd like to have a app where you can wirelessly send demos to your psp/vita.
