My brother droppd his psp and the screen got messed up. When he turns it on everything works but after a few minutes the screen blacks out. The sound is on and so is the psp. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

the only thing I can think of is either the screen or its wires are damaged
either send it to sony (with warranty)
or
take it apart
(without warranty AND you feel like you can replace watever is causing your problem
