Is their a way to record gamepley? I already have the DVC, and I can record my PSP's gameplay with it. So does sony or any other 3rd parties that distribute A/V cords for it?

You can't record gameplay on the Vita because it has no Video Display Output Capabilities.

Get a camera, mount it to a flat surface.
Play your Vita in front of the camera. ???? PROFIT! |

Um, no. They're recording, AND BROADCASTING gameplay at E3 though?

I came across something last night that could be NOTHING MORE THAN RUMORS. But that odd port next to the game chip port could be a video out port that isn't active on current firmware. However thats just rumors. At the moment no. There is no way.

It probably is because they call it a "Utility Port". Maybe they just didn't make for public use. I assume they will release it soon since people have seen it now at E3. Plus they had to get all of those gameplay shots some how. Unless they have a simulator.

They were using the same ports last year and still nothing about getting TV out for the system.
It can be that their floor models/demo units have the proper hardware to do TV-out but retail units are stuck without the required stuff for that. |

So theirs no 3rd party company that manufactuers them.

this isn't an accessory that i'm talking about, they are internal hardware that is specific to the demo units ... possibly combined with proprietary external hardware that is used in order to get a Vita to produce TV-out capabilities.
until they release a newer model, store bought Vita systems will not have any elegant way of recording what is on the screen. |

QuoteCorrect, floor models are completely different There is a different port at the bottom of the Vita If im correct, it is similar to the original PSP dev kit (which can connect to a external model for testing) The port everyone questions at the top could be anything (since we currently don't know what it is) It could be a Tv out or it could just be a 1seg tuner spot (which japan uses) We just don't know. Problem solved? |

Im sure what he meant by "different port" is a different shaped or sized port. Obviously it is originally the audio port, but they most likely modified the port for E3. Am I right? Does it make sense?
