Can someone please help me. I have a Dazzle DVC 80 (Yes I know it's old.) I have all the proper drivers and software installed but it still won't work. I have Windows 7 professional 32-bit. I'm doing a gameplay video for my Youtube channel.

Are you using Pinnacle Studio to capture?

I don't think Pinnacle is compatible. The box original said compatible with "Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, and Vista.

Well as far as I know, Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie Maker are the only programs that can capture video (but I'm sure there are more).
Even though the box doesn't say that it's compatible with your PC, I'm sure it'll still install. I assume Windows 7 wasn't out by the time your version of Pinnacle Studio was released. Besides, didn't you say that you had Windows 7 Pro in your other thread? I think that version has Windows XP Mode, so if you can't install Pinnacle Studio on Windows 7, you could try installing it in Windows XP Mode. |

No, I think Pinnacle isn't compatible with the hardware, not the OS.
Ps. I did say I had Win 7 Pro. |

I'm confused...
You don't think Pinnacle Studio is compatible with your computer? OR You don't think Pinnacle Studio is compatible with your Dazzle? I used to have a Dazzle DVC 100 and I used it with Pinnacle Studio. Anyway, you can still try capturing with Windows Movie Maker. |

1. I have a Dazzle DVC 80
2. I said I don't think it is compatible with my dazzle. 3. Is movie maker compatible with this type of Dazzle? |

Well did any capturing software come with your Dazzle?
But yeah, you can use Windows Live Movie Maker with your Dazzle. Plug in your Dazzle and when you want to start capturing, click on "Webcam Video" (in WLMM) and change the "Available audio devices" and "Available webcams" to your Dazzle. |

If you don't find a program to capture the video from, try Virtual Dub. It captures from basically any device, and in many tutorials on Youtube, is used for the best possible Dazzle quality if used correctly.

I need the proper driver. The official dri]vers aren't compatible with Win. 7. I don't feel like setting up a Virtual Box.
Edit: I got the driver installed. Know does anyone what software is compatible? Edit 2: @Cam, thanx for the advice but it sucked. It worked but it sucked. The frame Rate was slow, their was a really long delay in the audio, the picture quality was horrible, and I had to use extra hardware (Thank god I had it.) Just to record the audio. You can the recording here if you want (I used my XBOX. My brother has my PS3): Dazzle DVC 80 Quailty Test This post was edited by UnchartedBoy (06-23-2012 02:24 GMT, 332 days ago) |

dazzle products support 480p , Pal60 (as far as I know) but I am not so sure about ntfs. Make sure you use those settings *and your dazzle will work perfectly...
