Yesterday I wanted to switch memory sticks on my PSP, but whilst inserting the other one I noticed some loose plastic strings on the copper part of the stick. Not thinking much of it, I inserted it anyway and now I'm stuck with my PSP's MS light blinking but no access to the card whatsoever. Is this fixable or can I throw it away?

Oh god... This is like something that happened to me. I too had a 2GB and 4GB memory stick. When you insert a memory stick is just flashes orange meaning the memory stick is corrupt. This is not fixable so you either have to throw it away and buy a new one or try and format it with a card reader connected to your computer (this will most likely not work from my experience but its worth a shot).

Why is it always with a 2GB and 4GB combo?....
