I just got the game and Im aiming for trophies but I need to know how to slit a throat. What do I do after I grab hold of them?

Thanks! Been trying to figure that out for a while. The controls are still something I have to get used to.
@abiel Yeah, the trophies for MGS3 seem a lot easier than MGS2, but there are some humorous trophies in MGS2 :P |

Okay, another question for MGS3, how are you able to hold up people? Im trying to get that trophy but I cant hold them up. I sneak up behind them and draw my gun but either Im still a bit too far or they will quickly turn around. How can I get close enough to hold them up without them becoming alert?

try knocking him out, then when he is waking up point your gun at him.
