Introduction: The game that started one of the biggest games of all time. This was suppose to be the last game Square was going to make, so thats why its called Final Fantasy. But since it sold so well, Square continued to create new Final Fantasys and is the company we all know today.

Graphics: Back in the day, the original had almost incomparable graphics too any other game released near the same time. Now, they tweaked it up a bit, even more from the original remake of Final Fantasy origins for the Playstation. Its not the best, but for a pixel type graphics, its very detailed. Square has never deceived me on their graphics and i hope that day will never come.

Story: Darkness has over come the world. The earth is starting to decay. The crystals of light has lost all light....But the world hasn't lost hope yet! In this RPG, your going to play as the warriors of light (6 warriors to choose) to restore order and peace to this world. Quite a classic story, always some new events here and there. But be sure not to skip anything, information is critical in this game. So read up!

Sound: Ahh, the musical work of Nobuo Uematsu, one of the best in the video game industry for music. A lot of the tracks in this game is memorable for many RPGs fans. We should all know the introduction theme with the harp or the battle end jingle. The sound it self is pretty good. Often smooth and it sounds original. No cheesy 80's movie sound effects....And thank god.

Gameplay: This was one of the first game were you could see your party when you were in battle. Usually, in most of the first RPGs, you only saw what you were fighting and nothing more. Other then that, is your pretty simple combat system for RPGs, but its faster then the original. Its maybe simple, but it has a great base to it and without that system, we wouldn't have much today.

Lifespan: Probably what i love the most about these games, the lifespan. These game can take multiple hours to complete and worrying about not having something to play, isn't the issue. These games usually last me a couple weeks or so.

Overall: In the end, if you love a good story based on fantasy and adventure, also if you want to play the first of the Final Fantasy serie, its only 20 dollars. So a game thats going to last you some weeks for 20 dollars, its a great find. Must buy for RPG fans.
